Attachment Therapy
What is it?
Attachment therapy helps you understand how early relationships influence your adult connections. Many people experience anxiety, trust issues, fear of vulnerability or recurring patterns in relationships that stem from attachment wounds. In therapy, we explore these patterns, develop insight into your attachment style, and work to create healthier, more secure relationships. What to expect….
In sessions, an assessment may be done to determine which of the four attachment styles you have. You’ll explore the history of your attachment style, gaining insight into how your early experiences shape your emotions and behaviours and assessing relational patterns. Attachment theory focuses on developing secure ways of relating to yourself and others, improving trust, and enhancing emotional awareness. Clients often leave feeling more confident, emotionally grounded, and better equipped to build healthy, lasting relationships.
