Couples Counselling Toronto

In-person @ The Annex

As a Level 2 trained Relational Life Therapist (RLT), I take a direct, no-nonsense approach in couples therapy to help you and your partner break out of the patterns that keep you stuck. My role isn’t just to sit back and listen. I’m actively engaged in calling out the dynamics I see, helping each of you understand your part in the cycle, and guiding you toward real, lasting change.

The Couples Therapy Process…

  • Understand individual experiences and how the relationship came to be

  • Recognize and interrupt unhealthy patterns of engaging

  • Build empathy and compassion for each other’s experience

  • Develop healthier ways of relating and interacting

  • Learn skills to maintain the change needed for a healthy, sustainable, and enjoyable relationship

What to Expect in Your First Couple Counselling Session…

A chance for your therapist to get to know both of you: your story, current challenges, and hopes for change.

Your therapist will begin to map out your relationship dynamic, highlighting the patterns that keep you stuck and helping you see them more clearly.

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your dynamic and a therapy plan to look forward to as you move deeper into the work together.
